Selam All! Join us this evening as we kick off the #EthiopianVisionsFilmSeries with the first of the virtual film screenings!
Presented by the Scribe Video Center in collaboration with the Selam Committee, the #EthiopianVisions film series will feature four boundary-pushing narratives exploring contemporary cinema from filmmakers in Ethiopia and the Diaspora, beginning with tonight's presentation:

TWILIGHT REVELATIONS: Episodes in the Life & Times of Emperor Haile Selassie with Yemane Demissie
Each screening will be followed by a post-film discussion with the filmmaker, viewable on Scribe’s Crowdcast platform. Tickets are $8 per night (film screening) for general admission, $5 for Scribe members and $4 for seniors and students (free for UPenn students). And a 50% discount on GA tickets for Selam Committee members and followers using the code "selam".
